Diagnostic information
Your mower selection and diagnostic answers are sent to the Detayl server so it can choose the next deterministic test. Hosted diagnostic sessions expire automatically and do not expose Detayl’s private scoring rules to the browser.
Garage records and accounts
When account synchronization is unavailable or you are signed out, Garage stores equipment details, engine hours, optional serial numbers, maintenance history, costs, and notes only in your browser. Garage provides a JSON export for backup. When you choose to sign in, Amazon Cognito manages your identity and Detayl synchronizes those Garage records into an encrypted Amazon DynamoDB table under your verified account identifier. Clearing site data removes the browser copy but does not delete a signed-in cloud account.
Product links
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon links use Detayl’s issued Associate ID. Other retailer links are direct unless separately disclosed. When you follow a product link, Detayl records the part identifier, destination host, time, and whether approved affiliate parameters were applied. It does not intentionally record an IP address, account identifier, or browser identifier in this click ledger. External merchants apply their own privacy policies.
Advertising
Detayl has applied to use Google AdSense. Until approval and activation, no Google advertising script is loaded and visible ad areas remain inactive placeholders. If advertising is activated, Google and its partners may use cookies, device information, and related data to serve and measure ads. Appropriate consent choices will be provided where required, including through a Google-certified consent-management platform. Paid Garage members will not receive display advertising.
